On Carnival Friday, Cartagena is filled with the freshness and ingenuity of its schoolchildren. Our future carnival spirit takes to the streets in the grand School Parade .
Our schools take to the streets to parade through the city center, filling it with color and infectious joy. It's the day to see the shortest (and funniest!) astronauts, animals, superheroes, and fairytale characters in this ancient city.
The parade will conclude in the iconic Town Hall Square , where the school day will transform into a children's celebration. Music, entertainment, and a festive atmosphere will bring this morning, dedicated to community spirit and promoting our traditions among younger generations, to a close.
